The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge came to Kamsack
 
Mayor Rod Gardner and several members of the RCMP detachment braved the very cool weather to take part in the 2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challange on Monday. Although considerably chilly for a late August day the nominees survived the drenching and many more nominations were sent out. Hot dogs were on sale and donations were made to this great cause, $509 were raised from the Town of Kamsack hot dogs sales and donations. Well done to everyone for taking part, for more pictures please visit the Kamsack Sports, Recreation & Culture Facebook page.

NEW - Free bacteriological testing is offered this spring to help determine whether drinking water from private wells or cisterns affected by flooding is safe to drink

Oct 10/11 – Movie Night in Kamsack – PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE at the Playhouse at 7:30pm.

Oct 19 - Fall Supper at the United Church from 5 – 7pm, everyone is welcome to attend.

Oct 25 -    6th Annual Kamsack & District OctoberFest at the OCC – Cocktails at 5:30pm followed by German Supper, entertainment & dance – Tickets $25 each call 542-4223 or 542-2606
