CTV's Hometown Tour comes to Kamsack
The annual CTV Hometown Tour stopped in Kamsack on Tuesday, September 23rd. This was the tour's first ever stop in the Garden of Saskatchewan and the beautiful weather welcomed the visitors and residents that gathered at the Trackside Gardens. Coffee and doughnuts were available to everyone before our guests accompanied Mayor Rod Gardner and other councilors for a sight-seeing trip around Kamsack. The visit included a trip to the James Rudd Fire Hall, the new medical clinic and the Assiniboia Valley Estate condominiums. The day culminated with a live broadcast from KCI were over 100 students, staff and guests were on hand to bid farewell to the CTV Hometown Tour. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge came to Kamsack
Mayor Rod Gardner and several members of the RCMP detachment braved the very cool weather to take part in the 2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challange on Monday. Although considerably chilly for a late August day the nominees survived the drenching and many more nominations were sent out. Hot dogs were on sale and donations were made to this great cause, $809

Oct 24/25 – Movie Night in Kamsack – THE BOXTROLLS at the Playhouse at 7:30pm.
Oct 25 – 6th Annual Kamsack & District OctoberFest at the OCC – Cocktails at 5:30pm followed by German Supper, entertainment & dance – Tickets $25 each call 542-4223 or 542-2606
Oct 27 – Holy Trinity Anglican Church Tea & Bake Sale for St. Leonard’s Cemetery Fund from 1:30 – 4pm.

Oct 31 – HALLOWEEN HORROR DOUBLE FEATURE – plus pizza, costume contest, more details to come
